“I began working with Morag in 2007 at the Calgary International Airport International Facilities Project. The client, YYC, very much believes in the partnering process. Morag has been involved with the IFP team in both partnering and facilitating roles over the last four years. Partnering with a diverse team made up of client, program manager, designers, and construction managers can prove to be very challenging—to say the least. Along with the use of many excellent tools, such as Insights, Morag has managed to obtain buy-in to the process from every stakeholder involved in the program—no small feat.
Morag has exceptional skills in being able to identify potential relationship issues, crystallize them, reflect them back to the team, and facilitate solutions for the team. Morag has facilitated individual team sessions such as the Program Manager’s retreat, which was undertaken earlier this year to great success.
One key stakeholder commented after this particular session, “I’ve been to many of these so-called facilitation sessions over the years and this is the first one where the facilitator managed to engage everyone and facilitate real outcomes that can be applied for the success of the program.” Indeed, the outcomes were in fact applied to the program and met with astounding success, bringing the team to the next level of performance.
Morag has worked with our team over the last four years assisting us in navigating through a very challenging program, and we look forward to her continued involvement through to activation day in 2015.”
